Being independent means we can take as long as we need to offer thorough eye examinations
When it comes to your eyes, did you know that the majority of harmful conditions don’t have any obvious symptoms? That means you could have a potential problem without even knowing it. For that reason, it’s extremely important you’re seeing an optician once a year to ensure your eyes are as healthy as possible.
At Direct Vision Opticians, as well as having a friendly team ready to welcome you into our practice, we will ask you a few quick questions about your vision and your family history. These questions are nothing to worry about; they simply allow your optician to tailor a sight test to meet all of your needs.
Being an independent practice means we are able to spend quality time getting to know our patients and testing their eyes. We typically allow 30 minutes for appointments with adults and 20 minutes for youngsters; plenty of time to thoroughly examine your eyes and assess the quality of your vision.
Once your eye examination is complete your optician will take the time to explain any findings to you and answer any questions you may have. You will then be handed over to one of our experienced dispensing opticians who will discuss all of your eyewear options with you before showing you our impressive ranges of frames, spectacle lenses and contact lenses.
